I have a confession to make… I didn’t mean to vanish these last 10 weeks. A lot has happened over the last two months in both my personal, professional, and crafting lives, and I want to take a moment to chat about them a bit.
Most of us know that negative self talk can, of course, negatively effect how we feel. But you know what I’ve learned? The opposite is equally as true, and positive internal dialogue can be a very powerful tool in your mental health utility belt (and yes, I am picturing a Batman-inspired utility belt).
Sometimes it’s hard to remember happy times, and I’ve found that one of the best ways to remind myself of those moments is to keep photos around my home and workplace. (No really, they’re everywhere.) As we focus on our feelings and try to find more joy in our lives, I invite you to try hanging up a favorite picture or two in places you frequent. Over this next week, look at that photo. I hope it sparks your day with joy!
Something fun is on the horizon…it’s the Marine Life CAL!
I was so excited when I learned that Jodi Whittaker had been cast as the 13th Doctor, and I knew I had to design a graph specifically for her Doctor (including that crazy awesome outfit)!
I’ve been putting it off for a while, but I’m so happy to say that she’s finally here and officially a part of the new and improved Doctor Collection for the Whovian Graphghan.
Now that the Solar System CAL has launched, I’m very excited to take a little bit of a breather… I’m so very ready for a nice, quiet weekend. I don’t know if that’s what I’ll have, but that’s what I’m hoping for!
“Chaos isn’t a pit. Chaos is a ladder. Many who try to climb it fail and never get to try again. The fall breaks them. And some, are given a chance to climb. They refuse, they cling to the realm, or the gods, or love. Illusions. Only the ladder is real. The climb is all there is.”
“We stand together.” Who wouldn’t want that as a motto? (Not that Frey really embodies those words, but whatever…)
What’s not to love about the ambitious Tyrells and the fiery Targaryens?
I have a soft spot for baddies, and House Bolton is full of them. They’re gruesome, their unbending, their just down-right bad–and I LOVE them!
Unbowed, unbent, unbroken: formidable words from a formidable house!
What is dead may never die! Fierce words for a fierce house.
I may be sick, but at least I’m crafting!
When my husband and I first moved into our home, we went without internet access
“We march to victory, or we march to defeat. But we go forward. Only forward.”
