The Firefly CAL: Serenity

Ready to take to the skies and start our Firefly CAL? I know I am!

Our first square is the center square, the largest of all the Firefly CAL designs: it’s Serenity herself!

You can download the PDF graph here.

This PDF contains two sets of graphs: one large graph (to give you a Firefly’s eye view of the design) and a set of smaller graphs that you can print and tape together to make one larger graph (which, I think is easier on the eyes). All of the graphs have arrows on them and are arranged for use with the C2C method, starting in the bottom-right corner of the graph.

EDIT: There was a problem with the smaller sections of the graph not lining up quite right in the first link. I’ve corrected this change. You can download the corrected PDF at the link above.

As you may know, I have decided not to be doing written instructions for this CAL as I have for past CALs. You can find more information on why in this post.

Looking for the yardage/color chart? Find it here!

Want to start, but you’re not familiar with C2C? Check out our tutorial series here.

Next week’s squares are Jayne’s Hat and River’s Axes, both of which will be posted next Friday, February 10th. I’m so excited about this project! Happy crafting!

  1. I printed off the charts, but they don’t seem to line up when I tape them together. Are they supposed to be that way? I think there’s something off about the top part of the upper left corner chart…

  2. oh my gosh, there goes my life. I’ve managed to avoid these TV themed CAl’s. UNTIL NOW!! I cannot resist. Already have 8 WIP’s and the Hygge CAL in the post. SHeesh.
