Happy Friday, crafters!
Today marks the beginning of our next CAL, the Princess & Villains CAL! I’ve been waiting for this project for a while now, and I’m so excited to share these squares with you!
Squares will be released in sets throughout August and September. For now, here are the PDF graphs for Snow White, the Evil Queen, Cinderella, and Lady Tremaine!
These PDFs are graph-only. Due to the large number of squares in this CAL, I simply won’t have the time to produce written instructions for them all. But don’t despair! If you’re on Facebook, hop on over to our Two Hearts Crochet CALs Facebook group–our lovely admin Jess has graciously offered to write out the instructions!Ā EDIT: She Ā is also graciously letting me post them here, too!
You can download the PDFs for the graphs via the links below:

You can now download the PDFs for the written instructions via the links below:

*PDF instructions have been updated to correct some errors.
Next week features another favorite princess and villain pair: Aurora and Maleficent! Until next time, happy crafting!
The radiant yellow that you use in a lot of the blocks has been discontinued, is there a good alternative?
I used lemon. It looks comparable
Thank You, I have not done a graph as of now. I will as I want to try a few from yours. TY so much for these free patterns/graphs
Hi, I’m new to crocheting and I would like to give this pattern a try, but I still don’t understand how to read them. Do you know of any good video tutorials that would show me what I need to know? I’ve tried finding it myself but since I don’t know what to search for makes it hard to find.
Hi Jordan! If you’re looking to get started with C2C, I’d recommend my C2C Basics video tutorial series! You can find those videos here: https://twoheartscrochet.com/2015/12/30/c2c-basics/
As for reading the charts themselves, you’ll start in the lower right-hand corner and follow the arrows on these patterns, working in the diagonal.
If you have any questions, please let me know!
Thank you so much! And, is there a pattern or a chart for the crown and name in the middle of the blanket? I would love to add that in the middle of my blanket as well!
Any recommendations for joining these blocks? I was thinking of adding a sc border then mattress stitch together.
Is there a pattern to add a name to the blanket?
Thanks,
Linda
